OUR METHOD
The sources matter.
Research-based, date-checked information. Unknowns stay marked. No firsthand-visit claims.
Practical details, with their sources
The directory compiles public policy, hours, fee, parking, and access information from the supplied research records. Primary sources include park agencies, county and city rules, facility pages, and venue FAQs. Each place includes source links and the date checked in the original record.
What UNKNOWN means
If a supplied source does not establish a fact, it stays UNKNOWN. A missing fee is not a confirmed free visit. A dog-friendly patio does not establish indoor permission. Check linked sources before leaving.
Travel times
FACT labels identify official drive times reported in the supplied research. ASSUMPTION labels identify estimates. Traffic, starting point, and conditions can change a journey.
James River Park System
JRPS leash information uses the supplied City Code, Richmond Animal Care and Control, and Friends of the James River Park ordinance-based sources.
No firsthand reports
The current directory contains no firsthand visit reports. Source-check dates describe the supplied research, not a new verification or a visit.
Images
Visual panels are placeholders. No location photography is presented until owned or licensed assets are available.
