STOP 01

Short Pump Dog Park

Use the fenced small- or large-dog area. Keep your dog leashed outside the designated fence.

Address & hours: County-listed address: 3329 Pump Road, Henrico, VA 23233. Park: dawn–dusk. Confirm the dog-park entrance and check posted gate hours.
Dog rules: Handlers must be 16+, in view and in control. Have current license tags available; dogs must be free of contagious diseases and parasites.
Children & access: Children 15 and under need an adult. Dog parks are for owners and their dogs only. Pets cannot use the spray park.
Restrictions: No dogs in heat, sick or aggressive dogs, gum, smoking or glass. Outside the off-leash area, the county rule permits a cage, pen or leash no longer than 10 feet.

Hardywood West Creek

Choose an outdoor spot and keep your dog leashed.

Dogs: Leashed dogs are welcome outdoors. Pets are not allowed in indoor taprooms; service dogs are excepted. Check tent or gazebo access with staff.
Address & parking: 820 Sanctuary Trail Dr, Richmond, VA 23238. The former overflow lot across from the venue is no longer available.
Hours: Mon closed; Tue–Thu 2–9pm; Fri 2–10pm; Sat noon–10pm; Sun noon–8pm.
